Procrastination is Ruining Your Career, Take Control Today!
“Comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there.”

Do you often find yourself hating your job or just feel absolutely bored at the workplace? If your answer is “yes”, then maybe the problem is a lack of effort on your end.

So many salaried individuals become complacent or rest on their laurels these days. Unfortunately, boredom and limited incentives that come with unchallenging work can quickly outweigh the comfort. So, if you want to grow your career and access better opportunities, then you must take control and avoid procrastination.

What Causes Procrastination?

· Fear: People often put things off out of fear. They either fear failure or doing a poor job. For instance, a person may not nominate their name for a promotion at work because they fear losing the respect of others if they aren’t promoted.

· Laziness: Most people avoid doing the right thing simply because they don’t want to make the effort. So, as long as their regular life isn’t affected, they like to keep on procrastinating everything. For instance, someone may know very well that they need to increase their qualification to get better jobs, but they won’t do it because they don’t want to study for a diploma program or a post-graduation program.

· Pessimism: It’s not uncommon for people to have a low opinion of themselves. They think they are incompetent or don’t deserve more than what they have now. In most cases, this is a problem of a wrong attitude rather than a lack of skills.

If you are unhappy with your career and want to improve the quality of your life, then it’s critical that you push yourself out of the mire of procrastination. Take the leap of faith and see the massive change it can bring. For instance, you can easily apply for an executive MBA program today without breaking the bank and get better jobs and salaries.
