₹1,000 cr Retail Plan in Works, Says Apple

Tech giant and seller of iPhones, Apple said that it looks to make an investment to the tune of ₹1,000 crores in India for launching an online selling platform and setting up 3 retail stores in 3 key cities.

A government official who is aware of Apple’s plans said that the company has held a few meetings with the officials. They said that the first new Apple store is likely to be launched in Mumbai. It will be followed by Delhi, although the third location isn’t confirmed yet, they said.
