11 Weak PSBs Promised Help from Finance Minister Piyush Goyal

Finance Minister Piyush Goyal said that all the 11 public sector banks (PSBs) currently under central bank’s Prompt Corrective Action (PCA) framework will receive all possible help from the ministry.

The 11 PSBs including United Bank of India, Allahabad Bank, Dena Bank, etc. have been put under PCA because of their weak financial performance.

Goyal, who is temporarily filling the post of finance minister until Arun Jaitley recovers from his kidney transplant surgery, met with the heads of 11 PSBs this Thursday.
