1,400 PNB Employees Transferred Following Fraud Detection

Around 1,415 employees of the public sector Punjab National Bank have been transferred since the point in time when Rs. 11,300 crores scam was identified.

As per a recent statement by the lender, the bank has transferred 721 officers, 437 clerks, and 257 sub staff i.e. a total of 1,415 employees in accordance with the Rotational Transfer Policy of the Bank. It also dismissed the rumors that the total number of employees transferred is 18,000.
