24% Indians Have Experienced Financial Frauds, Says Report

Although Indians are actively embracing digital economy and using online payment methods more than ever today, the incidents of online frauds are also increasing, a report said.
As per a recent Experian report, around 24% of Indians have a first-hand experience of online frauds. It said that telecom companies, banks, and retailers are the biggest victims as 57%, 54% and 46% of their entities have experienced online frauds respectively.
The report said that 51% of Indians are comfortable with sharing their personal data to enjoy various services, and 50% are comfortable sharing data with banks.
