25th Walmart Store Opened in Indore

This Wednesday, retail giant Walmart India opened its 25th store in Indore which is the second in the city and fourth in the state. Company President Krish Iyer said that the company is happy with the progress of the business so far and that efforts are being made to set up new stores in Nizamabad and Warangal in Telangana and Kurnool and Tirupati in Andhra by the end of the current financial year. He also said that around 2,000 direct and indirect jobs are created by each store which requires an investment of ₹50-60 crores each.
