32 Crore Bank Accounts Opened Under Jan Dhan Yojana Since 2014

Minister for Law and Justice and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad recently tweeted that nearly 32 crore bank accounts have been opened under the Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) since 2014 i.e. when BJP came into power.
According to PMJDY’s progress report which is published on the official website, more than 13 crore people opened bank accounts in urban regions and 18 crore people opened the accounts in rural and semi-urban regions.
