5 mn USD Contributed to UN Agency Working for Palestinian Refugees

This Tuesday, the US Palestine refugee agency was donated 5 million USD by India to ensure sustained financial support. The donation cheque was given to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestinian Refugees by Representative of India (ROI) in Palestine.
The annual financial assistance to UNRWA from India was increased by 4 times from 1.25 million USD to 5 million USD after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Palestine last year.
