61% rise in general news sites and apps

As millions of people are now at home due to lockdown their mobile usage has increased to much higher rate.
The increase in mobile apps and sites was seen mostly in March as compared to February which is pretty obvious given the situation of Covid-19.
The online readers have been seen to show more interest in legitimate sites or government sites and guidelines which are to be followed.
The consumers are grappling with information generally on news, information through mobile apps more around the world and effects of Covid-19 and how the economy is going to survive.
The study has seen a decrease in consumption of sports sites or apps, travel sites, flights and ride and also the fashion industry.
