88% of Delhi Schools Have Computer Labs, Playgrounds: Survey

According to the economic survey of Delhi for 2018-19, only 88% of the school in Delhi have computer facilities and playgrounds. However, all the schools in the state have toilets, drinking water facilities, and electricity supply, which is a major improvement over the previous years, the survey said.
The survey said that at 1.70%, the education expenditure to the Gross State Domestic Product of Delhi is the highest in 2018-19. It also said that the per student per annum expenditure incurred by the Delhi government on education has increased from ₹54,910 in 2016-17 to ₹66,308 in 2018-19.
