ADB, IndusInd Bank Join Hands to Offer Financing to women

The Asian Development Bank has signed a loan worth $200 million with the IndusInd Bank to offer finance to the women borrowers in the rural areas of the country.

As much as 95% of the loan will be used for providing credit to the women borrowers and a minimum of 70% of these loans will be provided in the less developed states of the country, ADB said in a statement.
The 7-year senior loan will help IndusInd bank to reach additional 200,000 low-income members by 2020.
