AI Startup Pikup-ai Acquired by Ola

Domestic cab aggregator Ola has acquired Bengaluru-based AI startup Pikup.ai for an amount that’s kept confidential. The latter uses new-age technologies like computer vision, sensor fusion, and artificial intelligence to provide customized solutions for businesses.
Ola is looking to offer futuristic transportation solutions in India and abroad and has recently started focusing on deep technology and advanced analytics to succeed in that endeavor.
Ola’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and co-founder Ankit Bhati said that as the company is advancing on its mission to provide mobility solutions to a billion people, it’s readily investing in futuristic solutions.
Today, Ola has influence in over 250 cities in India, Australia, the UK, and others.
