Ajay Bhushan Pandey Nominated for New Revenue Secretary

As current Revenue Secretary and Finance Secretary Hasmukh Adhia is nearing the retirement date i.e. November 30, 2018, Ajay Bhushan Pandey, who is the CEO of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has been named to take his position.
Adhia is known for playing a key role in various government programs including bank recapitalization plan i.e. Indradhanush, Mudra Yojana, etc. However, his biggest contribution is said to be in the implementation of Goods and Service (GST).
