Amazon India helps artisans & weavers double their sales

The ‘Represent Handmade’ activity, to help more than 10 lakh craftsmans and weavers and ladies entrepreneurs, empowered merchants from Amazon Karigar (for weavers and craftsmans) and Amazon Saheli (for ladies business people) to enlist 3.2 occasions and 2.1 occasions development, individually.

While 32 venders crossed Rs 1 lakh in deals during the 10-week time frame, two merchants crossed Rs 1 crore in deals.

In excess of 200 new venders joined the Karigar program and profited by 100 percent SoA (sell on Amazon) charge waiver, affecting existences of more than 35,000 craftsmans and weavers, the organization said in an statement.

Pranav Bhasin, Director, MSME and Seller Experience at Amazon India said, “We are humbled by the reaction to this activity as clients from more than 12,000 pincodes bought an item from the specially curated store front. With the festive season coming up, we stay focused in on helping our sellers further accelerate and develop their business”.
