Amazon to Hire Over 1000 New Employees in India

In what’s likely to be a small respite for the troubled job industry in the country, the world’s largest e-commerce company Amazon listed as many as 1,245 open positions on its careers page this Wednesday.
According to a leading media agency that got to talk to one of the company’s representatives, most of the new jobs belong to the research and development department of the company, especially for Amazon Web Services, which is its fast-growing cloud computing division.
Amazon is one of the largest companies in the world with 3,41,000 employees out of which 50,000 are in India.
