Amit Shah Mulls Over Idea of One ID Card for Aadhaar, Passport, and PAN

Home Minister Amit Shah is considering the idea of a single ID card that can replace three cards which are Aadhaar, passport, and PAN. He was recently laying the foundation stone of a new building of the Registrar General of India and Census Commissioner when he raised the question of why we can’t have just one card for all utilities. He said that there needs to be a system that can put the data of different cards into a single card.
