Anti-dumping Duties on Chinese Products “Factually Incorrect”

Bringing clarification on an important issue, India said that a recent official report from a Chinese Media that said India was to impose a fresh anti-dumping duty on 93 different products that are imported from China, is “factually incorrect”.

The Indian Embassy said the news about the anti-dumping duty on Chinese imports that’s being published in China recently is erroneous as the duty is already in force for the past 5 years.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, India has launched as many as 212 investigations against Chinese products since 1994. China Daily also said that 12 investigations have been launched this year so far.
