Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to Issue First Dollar Bonds This year

Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), which has India as its second-largest shareholder is planning to release its first US denominated bonds with a minimum value of one billion USD within the next 6 months and has obtained approval for the capital.

AIIB treasurer Soren Elbech said that minimum issuance size will be one billion USD, but as demand for the issuance of the first bond from a triple-A multilateral institution in 25 years could be larger.
