Atal Innovation Mission Approves 1,500 New Schools for the Programme

About 1,500 new schools for the Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) have been selected under the Niti Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) that aims at promoting innovative thinking and the spirit of entrepreneurship among the young students.

AIM received as many as 25,000 applications from education institutes and other eligible entities across the country out of which only 1,500 were selected.

ATLs are play workspaces that offer new-age technologies like Internet of Things, Robotics, etc. that are used to boost creativity among the students of class 6th to 12th.
