Automated Software for Filing GST Returns Rolled Out by ClearTax

This Tuesday, an automated software program for the filing of annual GST returns via form GSTR-9 was launched by online tax portal ClearTax. The form contains the details of all the returns filed for a particular financial year. For the previous financial year, it has to be filed by June 30, 2019.
ClearTax’s software automates the filing of GSTR-9 by calculating the entries of the complete form all by itself, the company said. CEO and Founder Archit Gupta said that the company has already run a few tests with the program and interested businesses have started filing their returns with the service.
