Bank of Baroda Focuses on Creating Future Leaders

The PNB scam has been an eye-opener for the banks as it highlighted the broken moral compass the banking staff can have as well the risks of appointing employees. In order to address this problem, public sector Bank of Baroda (BoB) has started an HR program that aims to change its recruitment methods and revamp the performance management system. In addition to that, it has also created a senior leadership programme which will assess the performance of the top-level executives.
BoB HR Head Joydeep Roy said that the bank will send the performance feedback of the employees to an app on their smartphones, which is one of a kind in the banking sector.
