August 08, 2017
According to a recent report by the American brokerage BofAML, the rural demand that was greatly affected by the demonetization move last year is about to spike after October this year.
The report said that while Kharif farm income jumped by 23% last year, it was hurt the note ban drive.
Reduced agriculture costs, farm loan waivers, and bumper crop in great monsoon are some of the reasons cited by the report for the expected increase in the demand.
