BHIM Cash Back Benefit Extended till March for Merchants

To continue the promotion of BHIM as well as cashless payments as a whole, the government has extended the cash-back scheme till March 31, 2018, for the merchants. This scheme allows for incentives up to Rs. 1,000 for the merchants that accept payments through the BHIM application.
The BHIM app incentive scheme was launched on April 14 by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to encourage cashless payments. As per the scheme, a merchant can earn Rs. 50 for 20 to 50 transactions. After reaching a limit of Rs. 950, they can earn 2 Rs. per transaction.
