All Branches of India Post Payments Bank to be Launched by April

All the 650 branches of India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) are expected to be launched by April 2018 this year, Minister of State for Communication Manoj Sinha said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.

Sinha said that 2 IPPB branches were launched in Ranchi and Raipur on January 30, 2017, as a part of the pilot program. He also said that IPPB plans to expand its reach across the entire nation by converting all 1.55 lakh post offices into the access points for the banking services.
