BSE Launches Mobile App for BSE StAR Mutual Fund

Following the launch of BSE StAR Mutual Fund distribution platform, the exchange has now unveiled its BSE StAR mutual fund mobile application. The app is designed to help distributors perform transactions, track and analyze business and generate a mandate for SIPs from anywhere.
The platform, which was launched earlier, has enabled direct and indirect independent financial advisors to automate backend and front end processes from start to finish. It is now anticipated that the supporting app for the platform will allow independent financial advisors and distributors to register clients in real-time as well as undertake paperless transactions. In the future, to onboard new clients, the app will support online video KYC.
