BSNL, PNB Ink Pact to Launch Mobile Wallet Speedpay

Public sector lender Punjab National Bank(PNB) and telecom company BSNL have joined hands for the release of mobile wallet Speedpay in 10 states in the country.
Just like most mobile wallets, Speedpay will allow the users to pay bills, book tickets, etc. However, it will also offer online banking services, and money withdrawal and deposit services at the authorized outlets.
BSNL has signed an agreement with PNB as per which it will expand Speedpay services in Punjab, Chandigarh(UT), Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Uttarakhand.
