Center to Meet With State Officials Over PM-KISAN Scheme Issue Today

A high-level meeting has been called by agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar with the agriculture minister of different states as the government looks to bring 90 million farmers under the ambit of PM-KISAN scheme by July. At present, the official database comprises only 57.6 million eligible farmers. A large number of them have received the first installment of the funds and are now eligible for the second tranche.
