Central Bank’s Employees Seek RBI’s Intervention on SBI’s Rules for Account Holders

The employees of the Reserve Bank of India have urged the central bank to intervene in some of the recent decisions taken by public sector State Bank of India concerning its account holders.

Samir Ghosh, general secretary, All India Reserve Bank Employees Association sent a letter to Governor Urjit Patel in which he asked him to ponder on the SBI’s recent business decisions such as the free cash withdrawal limit of only three times a month and imposition of fines on non-maintenance of minimum monthly balances.
