Citi Bank’s Rahul Shukla Joins HDFC as Head of Corporate Banking

Private sector HDFC Bank has appointed Citi Bank’s former banker Rahul Shukla as the head of its corporate banking division.

Shukla, who just completed his 3-month gardening leave with Citi has now joined HDFC, thus replacing K Balasubramanian, the former head. He had worked with Citi for over 25 years in various positions in India as well as overseas. In HDFC, he will now oversee the dealings with the large companies that have an annual turnover of Rs. 1,000 crores in the metro cities, and over Rs. 600 crores turnover in the non-metro cities.
