Citi India Bars Credit/Debit Cards from Bitcoins Purchases

Considering the concerns raised by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) over cryptocurrencies, Citi India has banned the use of its credit and debit cards for the purchase of virtual currencies such as Bitcoin.
The bank recently messaged to all its customers saying that it doesn’t allow the use of its credit and debit cards for the “purchase or trading of such bitcoins, cryptocurrencies, and virtual currencies.”
