Core Banking Transactions Increased 400% in 2017

A recent joint study conducted by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and consulting firm MicroSave reveals that transactions through the core banking services increased 4 times during 2017 with the increased use of agent points. This also led to increased monthly median profit and revenue which jumped from $16 to $31 and $40 to $93 respectively from 2015 to 2017.
The report also said that about 2/3 of the banking agents process interoperable transactions, with 70% of them offering cash-in services.
