DDA Flats Housing Scheme in Trouble: 3000 LIC Apartments Still Unsold

Although the DDA Flats scheme 2017 is almost close to the deadline, the authority has managed to get only 22,000 applications so far. Out of the available 11,000+ LIG houses of the total 12,000 houses on offer, only 8,000 applications have been received. This is despite the fact that DDA had extended the deadline last month because of a poor response from the public.

DDA Officials, however, are hopeful. A senior official said that the final data will be available by September 11, so there is time still.
