Delhi Government Doesn’t Support E-Way Bill, Says Manish Sisodia

Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia, who was addressing the GST representatives of the Support Market Committees yesterday, said that the Delhi government is not in the favor of the e-way bill as it’s against the “one nation, one tax” aim of the Goods and Services Tax regime.
Sisodia said that during the GST Council meeting he told that the Delhi government is not in the favor of the e-way bill. He added that if the traders in the capital state face troubles due to it, then the state government will not implement it.
The e-way bill is scheduled to be launched on February 1 across the entire nation.
