Demand for Quality Goods and Services Increase in Rural Areas: SBI

In what’s an indicator of improvement in the quality of living in the rural India, the demand for quality goods and services is increasing, a recent report by the State Bank of India (SBI) says.
The report said that a possible reason behind the new trend could be the fact that many top manufacturing companies and FMCG companies have improved their distribution channels in the rural areas. It also credited the Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojana (PMUY) for giving a boost to the same.
