Deutsche Bank to Sell Retail Business in India

As a part of its plan to raise money through the sale of assets, foreign lender Deutsche Bank has entered into the discussions of selling its retail operations in the country.

Sources said that the bank is in early talks with the IndusInd Bank Ltd, although the discussions are not exclusive and a decision not being made yet.

Deutsche Bank has already sold its retail business in Portland and tried to sell the same in Spain as well but the deal fell through because it didn’t get the price it wanted.
