Development Projects of Rs. 40,000 cr in Limbo in Andhra Pradesh

More than Rs. 40,000 crores worth of development projects for Andhra Pradesh, one of which covers its new capital city Amaravati itself, are currently stuck in a limbo. This is mainly because the state government is skeptical about using the funds provided under the Externally Aided Projects (EAPs).

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu told the Legislative Assembly recently that it’s difficult to realize the immediate benefits of the projects for the state that’s already having a hard time with its finances.
