Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has once again emphasized on the reduction of fuel rates for the people. He said that following the four states- Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat that reduced the retail VAT that led to a drop of about Rs. 2.5 per liter, other states should also cut VAT on diesel and petrol by 5%.
