Doorstep Petrol Delivery to be Offered by Public Sector Oil Firms

Government-run oil marketing companies including Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HCPL) are looking to offer doorstep delivery of diesel to 20 additional cities. They are also planning to offer delivery of petrol by next quarter.

According to a media report, the state-run oil companies want to have at least 500 doorstep fuel delivery vehicles by the end of the financial year 2019-20.

M K Surana, who is the Chairman and Managing Director of HPCL said that the response to doorstep delivery of fuel has been good and that the company aims to expand the service while focusing on regulation and safety.
