E-Commerce Project to Generate ₹10 lakh cr Revenue in 2-3 Years, Says Nitin Gadkari

This Thursday, Union minister Nitin Gadkari said that Bharatcraft portal which is an eCommerce marketing platform to be launched by the government has the potential to generate revenue worth 10 lakh crores in 2-3 years. He said that the platform that will be akin to Amazon and Alibaba will allow MSMEs to sell their products online and boost the sector.
Gadkari was present at the 200th listing of an MSME company ‘Wonder Fibromats’ on NSE EMERGE when he said that the government wants to help the MSME sector which is at present contributing 40% to the exports and 29% to the manufacturing segment.
