Electoral Bonds to be Sold at SBI Branches This March

The finance ministry said that select branches of the State Bank of India (SBI) will put electoral bonds for sale from March 1 to March 10. For now, 4 branches of the lender have been authorized to issue the bonds.
At the beginning of this year, the centre had introduced the Electoral Bond Scheme per which citizens of India as well as recognized entities based in India can purchase the electoral bonds which can be used by political parties for their political funding.
