Employees Must be Kept in Loop During Bank Mergers: SBI

As the government is in the process of approving an alternative mechanism that will oversee the proposals on banks’ consolidation, Dinesh Khara, Managing Director, State Bank of India said that employees must be kept on board so that their concerns and doubts can be addressed during the merger. He added that the employees are worried regarding seniority issues and location changes; which is why it’s the responsibility of the principal bank to address these issues for its employees and also for those who may come on board after the merger.
