eMudhra to Allow Digital Permits for Recurring Payments

After making electronic loan disbursals a reality, the government now wants to make the debit facility paperless as well.

Digital identity and transaction management authority eMudhra has rolled out an Aadhaar eSign based authentication facility for the NACH (National Automated Clearing House) for the small and large businesses to receive the recurring payments from their customers through a digital medium. This will eliminate the need for the wet signatures that are currently being used for authorization purposes and make the system almost entirely cashless.
