EPFO Cracks Whip on 700 PF Trusts for Not Filing Online Returns

Employees’ Provident Fund Organization(EPFO) has directed its field offices to take appropriate action against 700 PF trusts that have not followed its instructions (issued in 2014) to file their returns online.
The Central Provident Fund Commissioner has asked all the field offices to make sure that exempted establishments file their returns online and take action against those who fail to comply, including exemption cancellation.
EPFO has also asked these trusts to offer online services to their members through emails, SMS, etc.
