EPFO Rolls Out Paperless Service for Payment of Dues

Taking one more step towards a paperless system, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched an online submission facility for the Form 5A.
Previously, firm owners had to submit a physical copy of Form 5A to their nearest EPFO office for the new registrations as well for the changes in the ownership details. However, under the new service, the employers can upload the form online and authenticate with e-signatures instead.
EPFO has also rolled an online payment facility for the Section 7Q and Section 14B dues.
