Expect “New India 2022” Report in a Month: NITI Aayog

India’s think tank NITI Aayog said that the agenda for “New India 2022” shall be ready within a month or so after receiving comments from states.
It wasn’t presented in the recent NITI’s Governing Council as they want to reflect “ground realities”, meeting Vice Chairman Rajiv Kumar said. Similarly, CEO Amitabh Kant added that they needed more consultation.
Previously, NITI Aayog had planned to work on 3 documents- a 3-year action agenda, 7-year medium-term strategy paper and a 15-year vision document.
