Fight Against Bad Loans: Bank of India Places 54 NPA Accounts for Sale

Public Sector Bank of India (BoI) is taking a number of steps to tackle the problem of bad loans, one of the most recent ones being putting a large non-performing asset (NPA) portfolio up for sale.

BoI is seeking bids from Non-Banking Finance Companies (NBFC), Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs), and Financial Institutions (FIs) for 54 of its NPA accounts that make for a combined debt of Rs. 2,166 crores.
