October 05, 2017
The recent hikes in the prices of jet fuel and Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) have led to the speculation that airline tickets and restaurant bills could become high in the near future.
Jet fuel price was increased by 6% this Sunday in accordance with the international rates which is for the 3rd time since August. It now costs Rs. 53.045 per liter in New Delhi.
LPG rates have also been increased by Rs. 1.50 which is why LPG cylinders now cost Rs. 488.68 in New Delhi. This is on top of the 7 Rs. hike introduced earlier in the previous month.
