GitHub expands its operations to India

The software development platform, GitHub is opening its subsidiary in India. The reason behind opening the subsidiary in India is to assist better to the developers’ community. GitHub’s community of developers in India has grown rapidly by 22%.

In upcoming months, GitHub will build a group overall functions to empower clients to embrace DevOps best practices at scale and team up with more than 40 million developers across more than 100 million projects. GitHub is also expanding its GitHub hackathon grant program to assist the increasing community.

According to The Economic Times, Maneesh Sharma has taken over the GitHub’s operations in India as a General Manager.
