Global IT Spending to be 3.8 Trillion USD in 2020, Says Garter Study
According to the top research firm Garter, IT spending across the world is projected to cross the $3.7 trillion mark by the end of the year. It said that the overall spending will grow by 2.8% to $3.87 trillion in 2020.

Garter Vice-President John-David Lovelock said that although there is uncertainty due to trade wars, Brexit, and recession rumours, IT is still looking at growth in 2019. He said that a trend is also observed as spending is moving to cloud services and IoT devices from mobile phones and desktops.
