Google Maps introduced a new Covid-19 feature to avoid crowded areas

Unlock 1.0 has left many places open and more areas prone to affect with coronavirus spread if not taken care of properly.

Google Maps has introduced features for android and IOS both to travel safe during this unprecedented time.

The google map app will be alerting people how to travel safer and how the virus will impact their travel

A few of the many features are related to public transit whether you are traveling through your own vehicle or through a taxi.

When it comes to traveling through a taxi, the app will alert you accordingly if you are in need to wear a mask on public transportation. And when taking your own personal vehicle, the app will notify about restrictions and checkpoints on route.

Another interesting feature Google Maps has introduced is to allow tracking of live data to show crowded areas.

The features of transit alerts will roll out in India, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, and other countries as stated in livemint.
